I’m not sure really how to start a blog or what to say exactly but I am following my heart and with gentle nudges from my wonderful friends and colleagues I find myself here. This blog/website is for me to ramble on about teaching journey with Outdoor/Place-based learning. I want to keep it real because it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, figuerativley speaking. It’s about having grand ideas and falling flat or letting go of your plan to follow your students observations and interests. It’s about connecting to our local places so that we can all foster a sense of understanding, care and concern for our larger global environment. I am doing this for myself, in order to see my story unfold and along the way I hope I can offer insight for other like-minded educators, parents and anyone else who feels the same about getting outside with children.
Thanks for coming along for the ride,
Alison
